Rhondda Swimming Club, based in Ystrad, is the Rhondda's number one competitive swimming club with over 150 swimming members using 3 pools in Ystrad, Maerdy and Cardiff International Pool.
We cater for junior 'learn to swim' children aged 4+, and through classes follow the different stages of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (new window). Senior swimmers are organised into A and B training squads and swim in regular, fiercely-contested open meets. We also enter friendly club galas - where the competition is just as keen.
